Title
The final judgement, by Delli (1430, c.)
Description
This mural depicts the final judgement, where Jesus appears in the center surrounded by angels. The bottom part of the mural represents the earth where human souls are being separated: those going to heaven appear on the left, whereas those condemned to hell appear on the right. On the right a green dragon or monster is devouring the souls. In the center, there are open tombs where naked women and men are coming out from. The condemned souls appear naked, whereas the saved souls appear dressed with unisex clothing.
