Title
Death with Worldly Vanities, by Unknown (1720, c.)
Description
This engraving represents a skeleton throwing elements from a table to the ground. Among these elements we can find coins, a book, a musical instrument, a crown, etc. The skeleton itself does not display any specific gender traits.
Although the elements that the neutral skeleton is throwing from the table are usually elements representing male power, such as a crown, a Papal tiara and a miter, a mask with a female face is also included in the engraving.
